Field Service Manager
ESC Spectrum is a leading provider of systems and services for stack emissions monitoring at power plants and other industries throughout the country. We are looking for a Field Service Manager to join our team in Indianapolis.
This position is responsible for the management of our Indianapolis-based field service team including the remote technicians assigned to this office.
As a Field Service Manger, you will:
- Hire, mentor, and develop a team of top performers and Ideal team players.
- Ensure contracts and projects are successful including but not limited to managing the customer’s expectations, scheduling, allocation of resources and ensuring invoicing and project closure are complete. This will require working with other department managers and their teams to successfully complete common projects.
- Participate in discussions with prospective clients and the sales team to ensure a technical understanding of client’s needs.
- Provide technical input in all phases of projects including pre-bid, bid and implementation. This may require participation in customer meetings either remote or on site.
- Develop relationships with customers and build their trust in ESC Spectrum, leading to long-term retention of these customers.
- Participates in strategic planning particularly related to field service.
- This position is based in our Indianapolis office.
What You'll Need:
- Be a top performer and ideal team player who embodies our core values.
- Industry and technical experience sufficient to understand the problems and challenges of the teams but not necessarily be the technical expert in all applications and types of projects.
- Ideal candidate would have 5+ years CEMS Field Service experience.
- Ideal candidate would have a demonstrated track record of managing people and projects.
- Ability to address customer concerns and manage expectations effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with other functional groups.
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Excellent skills with MS Office including Excel and MS Word
- Ability to travel up to 25%
